The range starts at a compact 1.2m measuring volume for the Multigage and goes right up to a massive 4.5m measuring range on the Absolute arm.
The Romer Absolute 75 series arm is the premium portable CMM available; new 'absolute' encoders mean that there is no longer a re-referencing or homing procedure, instead the arm can be pulled out of the box and start measuring instantly. The introduction of Tesa kinematic probes have enhanced the Absolute arm even further producing the most accurate arm ever by Romer.
The 73 series arm is a portable CMM designed to offer a cost effective solution while still utilising Romer's knowledge base within the metrology field. It has infinitely rotating joints and an improved integrated counter balance system giving the user a 'light-to-handle' feel and thus ensuring fatigue never becomes a problem.
The integrated 7 axis Absolute Romer SI arm is combined with a slim line 3D laser scanner offering a fantastic package for high accuracy scanning applications while keeping costs to a minimum. The SE arm is a seven axis system designed to accommodate external 3D scanners. The Perceptron, class leading, V5 laser can be attached enabling it to collect 458,000 points per second and a point resolution of 4.5 microns.
