CimCore measuring arms stand for maximum mobility in industrial metrology. Carbon fibre tubes ensure maximum stability and the lowest possible weight. Absolute encoders, which assign an absolute value to each position of the arm, are used for the first time ever in a portable measuring arm. Initialisation is not necessary. Simply take the measuring arm to the part, switch it on and start measurement.

NEW Absolute Encoders in its primary axes, so the arm
always "knows" the position of its joints. The result is the first
portable measuring arm which does not require any kind of homing
procedure before starting measurement. When the arm is turned on, it's
ready to go.
• NEW TESA Kinematic Probes with Swiss made Bridge CMM Class connectors provide carbon fiber construction with automatic probe recognition. When changing probes, Kinematic probes save time by automatically identifying themselves to the software and by not requiring re-calibration. If you need to replace a tip, the probe can be easily re-calibrated in the field.
• NEW SpinGrip these infinite-rotating grips at elbow and forearm provide two “approved” grip positions for better ergonomics and do not allow the user to stress the arm during use.
• NEW Six Axes Ergonomic Wrist is smaller and uses new tactile buttons. The new design includes an integrated USB camera to document work set-ups and an LED work-light.
• Integrated handle and lifting point under counterbalance allow for easy carrying.
• Infinite Rotation Absolute series arms feature CimCore's patented infinite rotation of the principal axes. This allows inspection of hard-to-reach areas and avoids damaging the arm against rotational hard stops.
• Low Profile Counterbalance
balances the arm's weight for easy, operation with effortless control,
even above and below the arm's centerline. Better ergonomics means
lower operator fatigue and better measuring results.
• Carbon Fiber Arms From the carbon fiber tubes to the simplified dual yoke joint housings, the CimCore Arm was designed to be the lightest, yet stiffest arm we've ever built. The base 2.5 meter arm weighs just 7.5 kg, lighter than similar 2.4 meter arms. Combined with the improved accuracy from the absolute encoders, it's also our most accurate CimCore arm to date.

Universal thread mount base attaches to a
variety of available base and stand options including magnetic bases.
• Feature Packs plug into the base and provide interchangeable and upgradeable add-on capabilities such as WiFi connection, battery power, and more.
