• Artec S 3D Scanner
The Artec S model is the scanner that captures 3D
data with highest resolution and accuracy. This scanner has the
smallest field and depth of view and therefore
is known as the 'Small' model.
It is best to use this scanner
to digitalize small items the size
of a matchbox or pen
or to scan intricate details
on a larger object and combine it with data
acquired by the Medium and Large scanners.
• Artec M 3D Scanner
The Artec M scanner has a medium field and depth
of view. It is similar to the
MH model, but comes in a metal casing and
has a more industrial look. It is hand-held
and light weight so it can be walked around
the object, but it can also be placed
on a tripod. This model should be used
to scan medium-sized objects such
as a computer keyboard, a human leg,
or a hubcap.
• Artec L 3D Scanner
The Artec L scanner has the largest field and depth
of view in Artec's product line. This means
that it can digitize large portions
of an object in seconds. The scanner
is best used to capture large objects such
as the full human body, a car exterior,
or a large statue.
